CIRHR instructor Rajesh Uttamchandani (MIR 1998) has recently begun a new appointment as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) for MaRS Discovery District.
In addition to his teaching in the MIRHR program, Uttamchandani’s career in human capital and human resources has included the Bank of Montreal, Gap Inc. Canada, CIBC Mellon, CIBC, Deloitte and, most recently, a fintech software firm. As CHRO at MaRS, he says he hopes to be a driving force behind Canadian success stories by focusing on shared purpose, exceptional people, and on ensuring an inspiring workplace culture and employee experience.
