This winter, the CIRHR welcomed it's newest faculty member, Assistant Professor Brad Seward. Brad is managing an important research project for the Centre called RIES which is a federally funded program designed to make accessible data on skills, education and the labor market. Brad will also be teaching Research Methods in our Maters program come September.
Brad received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Guelph and has held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nipissing University, and as a Senior Human Resources Researcher at the Conference Board of Canada. Brad’s research covers a range of topics including education, skills, school to work transitions and labour market outcomes, human capital, and workplace diversity and inclusion. His work has been shared on CBC Radio, the Globe and Mail, 570 News Radio, and TVO’s The Agenda.
