Congratulations on having received your offer of admission to graduate studies at the CIRHR. We’re here to help you navigate through the process of registration and enrolment. But it doesn’t stop there. We’re also here to support your academic success and achieve your career goals.

2024 TO DO LIST

  1. For students without a UTORid – activate your JOINid (later to become your UTORid when you obtain your TCard)
    If you do not have your JOINid please contact Carol Canzano-Hamala at c.canzano@utoronto.ca
     
  2. Log into ACORN - Student Web Service (ACORN)
     
  3. Obtain a T-Card and UTORid
    Fall T-Cards available starting May 1 -  Confirmed
     
  4. Once you obtain your T-Card create UTORmail e-mail address
    You must obtain and activate UTORid before you can use UTORmail e-mail address – info provided when you obtain your T-Card
    You must enrol in UTORMFA within the 14-day period after setting up their UTORid for continued access to all U of T applications, including ACORN.
     
  5. Pay $500 Tuition Deposit by June 1, 2024 Deadline - Making a Tuition Deposit Payment
    Once processed the $500 will be posted to your student account on ACORN. For students who have completed their undergraduate degree at UofT the $500 deposit should be reflected on your Graduate Student (MIRHR) account and not your undergraduate account.
  6. Complete OSOTF Financial Needs Assessment Form - Part 1 and Part 2 - (Complete Part 2 if applicable)
    (Open to FT students who meet eligibility requirements listed on OSOTF application)
    Deadline to submit both completed forms to Carol Canzano-Hamala at c.canzano@utoronto.ca by June 15, 2024

  8. MIRHR Program Outline
    Individual program outlines will be emailed directly to each new incoming MIRHR student by July 21, 2024

     
  9. Review Course Timetable and Enrolment Instructions – NOW AVAILABLE
    Course enrolment begins on ACORN – Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 6 a.m. on ACORN

     
  10. Pay Fees – Fall 2024-Winter 2025 - NOW AVAILABLE
    A fees invoice will be posted to your student account (ACORN) in July. SGS requires minimum tuition payment amount (shown on invoice) by September 1, 2024
